A list of agency needs

The Mission of Hope Shelter is in need of new pillows, coffee, milk, laundry pods, disinfecting wipes, toilet paper, and paper towels. The Mission of Hope is also in need of monetary donations and gift cards for clients’ Christmas. Items may be taken to their facility at 18th and Perkins.

Payne County Youth Services is in need of household cleaning and laundry supplies such as laundry detergent, dryer sheets, dish soap, dishwasher soap, bleach, window cleaner, all-purpose cleaner and trash bags. These items will be used at the Emergency Youth Shelter and distributed to the Transitional Living Program young adult participants. These items can be taken to their offices at 12th and Western.
Wings of Hope is in need of winter clothes (all women’s and children’s sizes), coats and jackets, paper towels, dry erase markers, cleaning supplies for kitchen and bathroom, dryer sheets and laundry pods.

Salvation Army is in need of dryer sheets, laundry pods, ankle socks for women, Kitchen things for clients as they move out; i.e., pots and pans, microwave, coffee pots, toasters, Tupperware.

Fairlawn Cemetery Join us on Thursday, NOV 21, from 5 to 9 pm at Sam’s Southern Eatery as proceeds will help purchase wreaths for veterans’ graves at Fairlawn for our Dec 14 wreath-laying.  Do you have a family holiday recipe you could make and share for the light lunch we will serve following our 11 am WAA@F “Remembrance Service” and wreath-laying on Dec 14?   Also, if you wish to purchase wreaths at $15 each for veterans in cemeteries other than Fairlawn, we have ordered a few extra, available on a First Come – First Served basis.  Questions?  Email or
