Partner Agencies

United Way of Payne County partners with local nonprofit agencies who work to address critical needs in the community from serving children and families, those facing food insecurity, and individuals with developmental disabilities, to providing affordable housing and mental health counseling.

Rent & Utility Assistance

United Way of Payne County does not offer direct assistance, but we have compiled resources for individuals seeking assistance with utility bills, housing expenses, winter heating and summer cooling funding, and other necessary expenses. Funding is subject to availability.

211 Hotline

2-1-1 is United Way's free and confidential referral service available 24/7 that helps people find the local resources they need, when they need them. One call to 2-1-1 connects you to someone who can offer information about food, housing, employment, childcare, and other crisis hotlines.

SingleCare

SingleCare works to make prescription medications more affordable for all families, so that no one has to make the choice between medicine they need and other basic necessities. The prescription savings cards find the lowest prices and provides discounts on pharmaceuticals.

My Free Taxes

My Free Taxes is United Way's free, online tax filing program that lets U.S. tax filers who earned less than $84K last year file their federal and state taxes online -- for free. Since 2009, My Free Taxes has helped 1.45 million people across America save $290 million in tax prep fees.
