Together we seek out Payne County's toughest challenges, and unite our community to solve them.
Since 1952, United Way of Payne County has brought together individuals and organizations to implement initiatives focused on producing real results in the areas of education, health and financial stability.
What We Do
Many think of United Way as simply an organization that provides funds to other nonprofits, but we have evolved beyond that to a very different organization. United Way of Payne County is a "Collective Impact" organization. Our real power comes from bringing together local nonprofits, businesses, elected officials and community leaders to collaborate and implement solutions to some of our community's most pervasive challenges.
How We Do It
Our 21 partner agencies operate strategic and impactful programs to create real and lasting change in Payne County.
These programs are reviewed extensively through our board members who decide where the investments will make the most impact.
1 out of 3 Payne County residents receives help from these programs and community investment.
