About Day of Caring
Day of Caring began in Payne County in 1996, as a single-day event where community members band together and volunteer to complete projects for local service providers and United Way partner agencies.
Last year, 768 volunteers from businesses, schools, civic groups, and the community completed over 100 service projects in Stillwater, Perkins and Cushing. Projects include activities such as painting, cleaning, landscaping, administrative work, and much more!
